<- part six--

The relaxation after the storm...

Sunday the 13th through Friday the 19th

We decided to go to the Beach for our honeymoon, and we sure are glad! We got to hit the high points of the North Oregon Coast, and we had the most wonderful weather I've ever seen there!

Our trip started out at Astoria - we got to go to the Astoria Column (Eric climbed it), and had a giant bridge outside of our hotel window!

From there, we drove down to Tillamook and stopped on our way to go on a tour of the Tillamook Cheese factory.

The Cheese Factory!

We got to play on the beach in Lincoln City (Safeway stocked Purple and Yellow buckets so we HAD to buy some to play with), and even took our own picture :-)

Look, we got a picture of both of us! Yes, that is a heart shaped castle

From our hotel room the first few nights in Lincoln City, we had a nice porch with an amazing view. This was just one of the perfect sunsets.

Isn't it a beautiful sunset

We took a drive down one day towards Depoe Bay and Newport, and stopped to climb a lighthouse on our way. It was a wonderful experience, and a beautiful day. In Newport, we got to see another pretty bridge.

Then we got to go home and had a nice pile of presents waiting - here's Eric in the bedroom with the pile!

Wow, we had such generous friends and family - Thank you!

A special thank you to everyone who was involved. Each of you made our day more special that you could imagine.

Love and hugs,
Kristine and Eric
