Cakes
- Grooms Cake
- This is a cake that some people use at either their rehearsal dinner or wedding to reflect an interest of the groom or serve as an alterntive side cake to the wedding cake. It sometimes is a chocolate cake.

- Separators between the different tiers (levels) of cake

Attire
- Trousseau
- Personal possesions of a bride - traditionally this was what the bride brought with her into the marriage - all of her clothes, linens, and precious possessions.
- Blusher
- the part of a veil which is placed over the face during the ceremony
- Train
- part of the wedding dress which extends beyond the hemline to flow behind the dress
- Dress Details
- This is an excellent resource for fabrics, laces, and parts of the dress/veil

- includes definations of trains, sleeves, and collars

Flowers
- Flower Glossary
- A great resource of the different terms you'll need to know before ordering flowers
- Flower arrangements
- shares definations of the different kinds of arrangements you can carry
- Corsage
- decorative flower arrangement worn by a woman of honor at the wedding
- Boutinierre
- small flower arrangement worn on a man's coat
- Toss Bouquet
- a separate bouquet from the brides bouquet that can be used for the bouquet toss at the reception. The traditional use has all of the single ladies at the reception line up, the bride turns around, and throws the bouquet. Whoever catches this bouquet should be the next to marry!
Invitations
- STD cards
- "Save the Date" cards are sent out before the invitations. They are usually a good idea if your wedding is near a holiday or a section of the year that many guests would be usually unable to attend.
- Engraving
- A formal way of printing invitations - it raises the letters from behind and usually costs more
- Thermography
- The slightly less formal and more cost efficiant way to print invitations - it doesn't raise the letters like the engraving does, but it still looks elegant.

- Maid/Matron of Honor - A maid of honor is unmarried, while a matron of honor is a married honor attendant
